Yes, we do network cabling jobs ourselves. But when the going gets tough, then we'll call in our contractors to do the job. Today we visited our customer who had a networking issue, namely no connection. Since it was a new PC, it has not been connected to the router yet, and required termination (meaning to install a network head to a bare cable).

Pic 1: Once we've bared the cable, we'll 6 small coloured wires. Arrange them according to this: White-Orange, Orange, White-Green, Blue, White-Blue, Green, White-Brown, Brown.

Pic 2: After proper arrangement, cut the wires so that the endings are uniformed.

Pic 3 Pic 4

Pic 3: The wires are uniformly cut. Now I'm going to place gently into the network head (which is a piece of plastic having some cooper plates at the front.

Pic 4: In this picture, I've placed the wires into the network head, making sure that all the wires go in properly.

Pic 5

Pic 5: Though we've placed the wires into the network head, but we need to crimp it using the crimper tool (blue and red item on my right hand). Then the deed is done.
